I was born in the Southwest desert. The music grew through ceremonial work and meditation.
I play the guitars from my own archive. Twenty-five Spanish flamenco instruments from 1909 to the present, rare and historically significant, and a different handful on each release.
Nothing is layered. One instrument, one take, whatever it gives that day. Two guitars from the same city a century apart do not sound alike, and the recordings don’t hide it.
